Steven Watkins (San Francisco, CA)
Steven, a.k.a. Dr. Feelgood, originally hails from New York City, but Steven now calls San Francisco/Oakland home! He started dancing in 1998, and he began his Blues DJing career at his other adopted home - you guessed it - St. Louis' Cheap Thrills 2004. Since then, Dr. Feelgood has been "thrilled" to be spreading his love for the Blues, with some smooth, gritty, sultry music, coupled with a great sense of musical timing. If Steven has his way with us (and we sure hope he does!), there won't be any dance venues...just "Joints," and he'll do his best to bring music that'll make you FEEL that happen...Oh, and those sexy good looks help, too!
Roy Rydbeck (San Francisco, CA)
Roy has been a regular Blues and Lindy Hop DJ since 1998. He DJed in Tampa from 1999-2000, Chicago from 2000 to 2005, and San Francisco from 2005 to 2009. Roy is currently one of the regular DJs at San Francisco's Friday Night Blues and at 9:20 Special, as well as at the numerous San Francisco blues parties. Roy has DJed numerous events across the globe, including events in: Chicago, San Francisco, Tampa, Miami, Tampa, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Cleveland, New Orleans, Dallas, New York, St. Louis, Memphis, Indianapolois, Moscow, and St. Petersburg (Russia). Roy's Blues DJing is a good mix of different kinds of Blues. Some of Roy's favorits are Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor, T-Bone Walker, Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Guitar Shorty, Billy Boy Arnold, Memphis Minnie, and Sonny Boy Williamson-2, and Taj Mahal.
Tina Davis (Austin, TX)
Tina "Sweet T" Davis started doing the DJ thang in the great state of Florida in 2003 and now calls Dallas, Texas, her home. Tina spins a mix of styles, but it's all got to be funky and have a little "ass" to it. In addition to spinning her fave Blues, Lindy, and West Coast Swing tunes in Austin, she has been a featured DJ at many Blues events and Lindy exchanges in the US and Canada. She also likes '80s music, but don't hold that against her. Tina was a co-DJ for the Yehoodi Radio Show in May 2005 with Houston DJ Kristina Arscott. DJ "Sweet T" currently hosts a monthly blues dance in Austin, Texas, called "The Back Room."
Cid Galicia (Chico, CA)
Cid Galicia has been DJing for 4 years now; beginning with house parties and then, under the tutelage of Scott Kaufman and Ron Thompson, DJing Lindy nights at Midtown Stomp in Sacramento, CA. Cid DJs blues, specializing and spending time in the study of its music, artists, and history. Cid is always searching for new versions of classic songs. He has DJed such events as the Utah Lindy Exchange, Reno Dance Sensation, and Friday Night Blues. Cid is currently DJing "Up in the Kitchen," a Tuesday Night Lindy and Blues night at Studio One in Chico, CA.

Heather was created as a result of $1.5MM in venture capital to a small software shop known as BasieSoft. She is a mashup of the best blues songs from various genres, with all unpleasant tones removed automatically. Heather's blues software has industry-defining performance metrics, as she had the BluesMaster3500 module implanted in her cerebral cortex as a free add-on when receiving the HotLegsXT mod pack. Heather has been tested for compatibility with the following non-comprehensive list of platforms: Down Home Blues, Austin Blues Party, Enter the Blues, MezzJelly Blues Weekend, Blues Muse, CBUS, KLX, and ATLX. By dancing to the songs played by Heather, you give Heather irrevocable license in perpetuity to rock your socks off. All rights reserved. Satisfaction guaranteed, but not legally binding.
Keith "Big Papa" Shapiro has been a staple in the Austin dance scene since he moved to town in late 2006. Before Austin, Big Papa caused big trouble in little Mousetown as he put on Orlando's first blues events - teaching, DJing, and disrupting the status quo. Big Papa can be seen regularly DJing for the Austin Swing Syndicate and is a founder and house DJ for Kick Butt Blues, Austin's weekly blues dance venue. Additionally, Big Papa has been a repeat DJ at Mezzjelly Soul (Dallas), ALX, and Lone Star Championships, and has DJed at Emerald City Blues Festival, BluesSHOUT!, ATLX, Soul Jam! and other events that you weren't sober enough to remember.
Lydia Breen (Chicago, IL)

Lydia “Lady B” Breen has been DJing in Chicago since 2004, when she decided she would no longer cater to her non-dance friends’ musical tastes, and made her annual beach party into a blues dancing extravaganza, Blues With a View. She went from there to becoming a DJ at Fizz, Chicago’s major weekly swing night, where she would gear her sets mostly towards blues in the hopes of spreading her love of the blues as much as possible. Eventually, as the demand for fast music in Chicago increased, she stopped DJing there, and instead focused her efforts on more bluesy venues, such as CUBE, late nights of WCLX, and multiple blues parties. Lady B’s music collection has been influenced both by the legacy of Chicago Blues history and by the modern-day music scene in the blues bars of Chicago. More recently, Lady B has been a part of the founding of Bluetopia, Chicago’s first monthly blues dance, where she spins regularly.
Ruby Forsmann (Chicago, IL)
Ruby transforms the dancefloor into a celebration of movement, both locally, nationally and beyond. In Chicago, she has DJed the Windy City Lindy Exchange as well as the city's two longest running weekly events, the University of Chicago's Java Jive and the north side's exclusive Fizz Bar and Grill. She also co-hosts Chicago's monthly Blues event, Bluetopia! In Scotland, she introduced the locals to Country Blues and New Orleans Jazz with the aim of broadening their dance horizons beyond pop and R&B. She also led the first UK Solo Blues Ensemble while on tour with Lucky Skillen. Ruby has set the tone at countless house parties with such diverse requirements as "please, nothing too bassy which would piss of the neighbors" and "play something the math doctoral candidates will dance to." Ruby constantly scours the airwaves and internet streams for distinct tunes by blues artists both living and dead with which to enliven any dance party.
