The Tacky Annies (Chicago, IL)
Performing at Friday Late Night.
The Tacky Annies is an all girls vintage dance troupe based in Chicago,
Illinois. They specialize in vernacular jazz dances from the early part
of the 20th century including Charleston, Blues, and other specialty dances.
Founded officially in August of 2008 by Jenna Stworzyjanek, the Tacky
Annies brought together some very talented female Lindy hoppers from the
Chicago-land area. For more information on the Tacky Annies, check out

Annies will be performing a routine choreographed by Sara
Cherny to "Ain't No Second Fiddle" by LaVern Baker.
Elizabeth Tuazon (Peoria, IL)
Performing at Saturday Late Night.
Elizabeth has been involved in the performing arts since her childhood
in the Chicago suburbs. Beginning with piano and ballet, she has since
added percussion, voice, modern dance, and plenty of social dancing, including
Latin styles, ballroom, and most recently Lindy and Blues. She teaches
vocal and instrumental music in a K-12 public school district near Peoria,
IL, in addition to maintaining a private piano and voice studio. She has
been a performer in chamber ensembles and orchestras in Italy, Germany,
and France, as well as being an active performer with the local community
choir and band and a local Cuban salsa performance team.
Elizabeth will be performing a routine she choreographed to Muddy Waters' "You Can't Lose What You Ain't Never Had."
Joe Demers and Nelle Hatley (Denver, CO)
Performing at Saturday Late Night.
Joe and Nelle will be performing a routine that they choreographed to "Hot Potato" by Circus Contraption.
If you saw their performance last year, you know this is one couple you don't want to miss. If you missed
their performance last year - well, you don't want to let that happen again!
